Position: Assistant Professor of Speech and Theater Communications

Description:
Christian Brothers University, a Catholic university in the Lasallian tradition, in Memphis, Tn. seeks applicants at the assistant professor rank, for a non-tenured track position (possibly renewable) in Speech and Theater beginning August 2009.   A PHD or Masters in one of these areas with graduate hours in the other area is required with at least 2- 3 years teaching experience outside of a graduate program. CBU is an institution that emphasizes high quality teaching, though a commitment to research and service is also important.

The candidate for this position will teach a full course load that will include directing and overseeing all aspects of a theatre production at least once a semester.
