Dean, School of Business
Christian Brothers University, a private Catholic LaSallian university in Memphis, Tennessee, seeks applications and nominations for the Dean of the School of Business. The School of Business has two departments offering undergraduate degrees in accounting and business administration with various concentrations. In addition, the school offers a cohort-based MBA and a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership.
Christian Brothers University is seeking an individual with the vision and leadership skills to move the School of Business to the next level of excellence. The Dean will be appointed by the President and reports to the Academic Vice-President.
Responsibilities:
- Overall academic and administrative operations of the School of Business.
- Supervising, leading and supporting faculty in an environment that emphasizes teaching at the undergraduate and masters levels
- Recruiting and mentoring faculty
- Developing budgets and managing the School’s fiscal affairs.
This position requires an earned doctorate in a field of business or economics, experience as both a faculty member and a university administrator, and good knowledge of accreditation procedures. Fund raising experience and civic involvement in previous employments are strongly desired.
The salary will be competitive and commensurate with credentials and experience.
