Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN seeks applicants at the assistant/associate professor rank, for a tenure-track position in Electrical Engineering beginning August 2010.
Job Purpose and Description:
A PhD with concentrations in electronics and energy conversion is preferred. An ABD will be considered. CBU is an institution that emphasizes high quality teaching through a commitment to teaching. The candidate is expected to contribute to the broader educational and professional mission of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. CBU offers a BS in electrical, mechanical, civil and chemical engineering. The mission of the School of Engineering at Christian Brothers University is threefold:
- To continue the Lasallian tradition through excellence in teaching and focus on the individual student
- To prepare graduates for professional careers and advanced study in engineering
- To encourage students to live with moral responsibility and constructive community involvement.
