The Career Center hosts on-campus interviews, information sessions, and other recruitment events each semester. All campus interviews are held in the Career Center offices (Top Floor, Barry Hall) unless otherwise specified. A list of interviews scheduled for this semester is listed below. For latest details on each interview date, consult this week's edition of the
Lifeline bulletin. A full description of these positions are available in our office.
Student Information:
To be eligible for campus interviews, you must have your resume registered with our office. (Click
here
to find out how to do this, if you haven't already done so.) Interview rosters will be available in the Career Center as they become available. Depending on the company's requirements, you will either have to be preselected (picked by the company to interview based on your resume), or meet the requirements set forth by the company, in order to be eligible for a given interview. The company may choose to preselect candidates that they wish to interview, open the roster to any students who meets the requirements, or a combination of the two. If you are preselected for an interview, you will receive an email from the Career Center to that effect in advance of the interview date.
You must meet all requirements listed by the company to be eligible to interview. These requirements are listed on each interview roster, and may include such things as graduation date, major, GPA, and citizenship/immigration status. Signing up for an interview time is acknowledgement that you do meet all stated requirements, which have been set by the company (not by the Career Center). Signing an interview roster obligates you to be present for that interview at the time for which you signed up. Failure to show up for a scheduled interview will result in the forfeiture of your interviewing privileges for the remainder of the semester. No exceptions. As with all interviews, professional appearance and attire (an interviewing suit) is expected. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled interview time, and wait in the media room (Barry 247) until summoned by the interviewer.

Preselection Process - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
All students who register with our office must submit their resumes to the Career Center (many do this at the beginning of the semester, some at other times throughout the remainder of the year). Please note that when students list their resumes with our office, they are doing so to be eligible for ALL interviews and all positions in their area of study and/or interest, not for a PARTICULAR position. If you opt to preselect students, you will need to review these resumes, and select a list of candidates that you would like to interview. You should do this BEFORE students begin signing up for interviews. All of these resumes are located in the Career Center's on-line database...they are sorted by classification (alumni, seniors, MBAs, and undergraduates), and then sub-divided by major. (All resumes are listed as Microsoft Word document for easy viewing.)
Once you have reviewed the resumes that you wish to see, you should email the list of names of the students you have selected to the Recruitment Coordinator. The Career Center will then contact the students you have named, and ask them to sign up for an interview time. (It is possible that a student may not be interested in your particular position, in which case they may decline the interview.) We will then contact you with a finalized interview schedule a day or two prior to the actual interview date. If you have any questions, or need to make special arrangements, please e-mail us or call us at (901) 321-3330.
