Commencement is the time of year when the Kappa Delta Pi, an education honor society, typically invites new members to join whether as continuing students or as prospective alumni/ae of CBU's education programs. We seek active members of Kappa Delta Pi, both continuing students and alumni/ae.

Honor cords for previously initiated members of Kappa Delta Pi are now available for sale in the Department of Education office at a cost of $10 per honor cord. Checks should be made out to Omega Omega Chapter.

There are grade point criteria that must be met: 3.0 for undergraduates and 3.5 for graduate students. Applications will be available at that point. If you are interested in initiation and meet the criteria, please come by the Department of Education to complete the form and leave your check.

The cost associated with initiation is $75, including chapter dues, national dues, initiation fee, and support for the cost of the event itself, meaning refreshments for you and your guests.
