Undergraduate degree programs consist of:

Bachelor of Arts in Child Development

Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies

Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies

Bachelor of Arts in Special Education (beginning Fall 2009)
Various other degrees through other schools within Christian Brothers University are also offered in conjuction with a licensure / fifth-year program that culminates in earning a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT).
CBU's undergraduate program gives priority to intensive study in the arts and sciences first, followed by a focus on pedagogy while preparing for the MAT, which can be begun during the student's senior year.
CBU provides approved teacher licensure programs in the following areas: Early Childhood (PreK - 3), Elementary Education in conjunction with a major in Liberal Studies; secondary licenses in Biology (7-12), Chemistry (7-12), English (7-12), History (7-12), Mathematics (7-12), and Physics (7-12) in conjunction with majors in the School of Arts and in the School of Sciences. Licensure in French or Spanish (PreK-12 or 7-12) is also available as an accompanying second endorsement completed with any of the initial licensure programs.
