Our Thoughts and Prayers are with Union University
On behalf of the entire Christian Brothers University (CBU) community, I extend our deepest sympathy to President David Dockery, the members of the Union University family, and the families of the students for their losses in yesterday's devastating tornado. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Union University family as they begin to cope with assessing the damage to their beautiful campus and the process of rebuilding. Their loss is shared by all of us who attend or work at CBU.
While the physical damage is extensive, the planning and quick response of the faculty, staff and students is commendable as it minimized personal injury and saved lives. Union University is noted for providing more to its students than an excellent education; it is well-known for instilling compassion and strength of character that was certainly displayed in the reaction to yesterday's calamitous event. Please join me in continuing to pray for them as they begin the assessment, rebuilding, and resumption of their classes.
Brother Vincent Malham, FSC
