Learn How to "Lead with Courage"
CBU Workshop
Christian Brother University’s (CBU) Center for Ethical Leadership will offer a workshop entitled "Leading with Courage" on Tuesday, November 18 from 4:00- 5:30 p.m. in Sabbatini Lounge on the second floor of the Thomas Center. Hosted by Dr. Bev Pray, Executive Director of the Center for Ethical Leadership, this workshop focuses on recognizing and actively using courage in the workplace.
The workshop explores the topic of courage by beginning with a basic exploration of what ancient philosophers wrote about the subject. It continues with a study of how modern leaders view courage. Such topics as standing up for workplace injustices, taking responsibility for personal mistakes and living your values will be discussed during this workshop. In addition, an assessment will be utilized to assist participants in determining their level of courage in the workplace. The workshop will conclude with techniques of how to incorporate courage into their leadership roles.
The Leading with Courage workshop is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, so advance registration is encouraged. RSVP to Kristi Tarbell at
