Memphis Camera Club to Open at CBU Gallery

Memphis -- The Beverly & Sam Ross Gallery at Christian Brothers University (CBU) is proud to feature the photography of the Memphis Camera Club April 11-May 22. The exhibit entitled "Places We've Been" will open with a reception on Friday, April 11 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the gallery on the lower level of Plough Memorial Library.

Throughout its history, the Memphis Camera Club has had many interesting field trips. In addition to being a way to expand one's photographic outlook, field trips offer the chance to interact with other members on a different level. This exhibit presents images that were taken on field trips over the past fifteen years from Beale Street to the Smoky Mountains and from Reelfoot to a Mississippi junkyard.

The photographers represented in this exhibit include: Ronnie Booze, Steve Copen, Paul Fultz, Glenn Fuqua. Carolyn Furlotte, Tom Furlotte, Beverly Hammond, Patsy McLaughlin, Angie Menne, Tony Menne, Ann Moore, Carl Nilson, Esther Prieto, Tom Richey, Barry Siegel, Brenda Silberman, Quinn Strother, and Mary Stubbs.

Hours at the Beverly & Sam Ross Gallery are Monday-Thursday, 7:45 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 2:00-11:00 p.m. Hours may vary due to University schedules.
