David Pierce Named Dean of Information Technology Services
Memphis- David Pierce returns to Christian Brothers University (CBU) as dean of information technology services (ITS). Pierce will manage the telecommunications and information technology services for the University as well as have a supporting role in the development of academic instructional applications and Web services in support of academic and administrative programs.
Pierce brings over twelve years of IT experience and familiarity with the CBU community to his new role. "As an alum and former employee, I am returning home to CBU," states Pierce. "I believe in constant attention to customer service and the Lasallian traditions of faith, community and service in educating our youth in a Christian Catholic setting."
Pierce, a resident of Hernando, MS, has most recently been serving as technical trainer/report writer at the University of Memphis. He previously served as Director of Systems Administration, Banner Report Specialist, Assistant Director of International & Transfer Admissions and Transfer Admissions Counselor at CBU. Pierce earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing from CBU in 1992. ###
