TKE AND AZD AT CBU TEAM UP FOR "NITE OF LIFE"
Memphis— Brothers of Tau Kappa Epsilon and sisters of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority at Christian Brothers University (CBU) are asking community members to donate and help support the Dream Factory of Memphis, a not-for-profit organization that helps make the dreams of special needs children come true.
Their primary fund-raiser, the "Teker-Totter," ran from March 16th until noon of the 18th. During that span of forty-eight hours, members of Tau Kappa Epsilon and Alpha Xi Delta continuously rode the “Teker-Totter” in the Thomas Center Quadrangle of CBU. All money raised by the Teker-Totter will go to the "Nite of Life," an event held by the fraternity and sorority that takes place on April 28th. On that day, TKE and AZD will provide Dream Factory families with a day at the zoo and later return to CBU for a magic show and cookout in Nolan Field.
This event depends solely on the donations and benevolence of the CBU and the Memphis communities. For questions or to make donations, please e-mail wphillip@cbu.edu or send correspondence to Box 304, 650 East Parkway South, Memphis, TN, 38104. ###
