Engineering Management Online Degree Launched Internationally
Christian Brothers University's (CBU) School of Engineering began its first cohort of international students enrolled in the online Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM) Program this week with fifteen students from the Universidad De La Salle Bajio in León, Mexico.
Dr. Neal Jackson, Graduate Engineering Program Director, stated, "The format for teaching the degree is interactive with the students in Mexico being able to both see the presentations and be seen by the instructor as they participate in the class." The MSEM degree builds upon bachelor degree preparation in engineering and other technical disciplines, such as biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics, and quantitative management. This degree is open to students throughout the United States and internationally. Local students also have the option of combining some of the online courses with traditional classroom courses for a hybrid format.
In addition, CBU recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with La Salle – Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona, Spain, to offer the Master of Science in Engineering Management degree as a dual degree option for students there.
For more information on how to enroll, call (901) 321-3283 or access our MSEM Web site. ###
